The doctors at University Health Practice provide an extensive range of healthcare services.

Sick certificates for work and education, pre-employment medical assessments, insurance, fitness for driving, and workplace injury assessments.

Diagnosis and management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes.

Assessment and long-term management, including general health concerns and those specific for syndromes.

Advice about nutrition, stress management, smoking cessation, and weight loss management.

Corporate medicals, driving medicals, pre-employment medicals.

Advice and treatment about concerns such as STI screening, prostate checks, and physical issues.

Mental health diagnosis and treatment, care plans, and referrals to counselling services.

Health checks including physical check-ups, and tests for lifestyle concerns such as diabetes and cholesterol levels.

Consultations, treatments, referrals, minor procedures, investigations, and prescriptions.

A requirement for your clinical placement with SA Health is that you provide and confirm your current Immunisation Status. Without your completed 'Health Worker Certificate of Compliance' you will not be able to complete your clinical placement.

Serology Screening clinics are offered at University Health Practice (on-site at the North Terrace Campus of The University of Adelaide). Bookings are made available via an email link provided by The University of Adelaide placement team upon acceptance of your course. Fees may apply.

Advice and treatment on contraception, IUD insertion and removal, pap smears, sexual health, pregnancy testing, obstetric shared care, and breast checks.

Workers compensation claims. Patients are required to pay for their consultation in full and request reimbursement from their employer.
