Dr Jim Allen

Dr Jim Allen completed his medical degree at Flinders University in 2018. Since graduating, he has gained experience working in a variety of settings across Australia, including Darwin and rural New South Wales, before relocating to Sydney to complete his training in general practice.

Dr Jim enjoys all aspects of general practice and is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centred care. He has a broad range of clinical interests, including chronic disease management, travel medicine, palliative care, and men’s health, and enjoys working with patients to support their long-term health and wellbeing.

Originally from the area, Dr Jim is excited to be returning to his hometown and looks forward to caring for patients at University Health.

Dr Jim will be working as a locum GP at University Health from 7 April to 5 June 2026.

• Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Master of Medicine (Pain Management)
